RoomSaver
Today RoomSaver operates in 48 states with an extensive
network of over 19,000 interstate distribution locations and a
client base of over 6,000 hotels, motels and resorts. More than
40 million RoomSaver Guides are distributed in the U.S.
annually. Though experiencing tremendous success today, the Company
is not an overnight sensation. The success that RoomSaver presently enjoys is built upon 25 years of steady
growth, perseverance and dedication.
RoomSaver's humble beginning can be found back in 1982 when the Company was
founded by the owner of a sign and billboard business. Each time
he installed a new hotel billboard, it bothered him that the sign
could not be seen after dusk, the time when most travelers were seeking lodging for the night.
It occurred to him that if he could provide hotel information to interstate
travelers
in
the form of a printed guide, then they could plan their trip in
advance.
Hence, RoomSaver was formed and the first green RoomSaver Guide was published. The
concept was simple: hotels would advertise a discounted room rate
in the free green guide to attract additional walk-in business,
providing a huge benefit to everyone involved. Over a decade of
steady growth followed as RoomSaver gradually expanded its client base
and market reach, building the company into a major national presence.
